CBAM is here. As is its calculation methodology.
After a very long wait, the European Commission has finally published the last missing CBAM implementing act in the Official Journal of 31 December. While these texts do not yet allow for a fully final calculation of CBAM liabilities, they do establish a complete and legally binding methodological framework. This is sufficient to understand the calculation logic, identify the main risk areas, and start preparing in a structured manner for the start of the CBAM financial phase in 2026.
This January, we’ll be organising three interactive online workshops in collaboration with Carboneer — an independent carbon-analytics consultancy that we recommend with the same neutrality as Dubrink or CBAMBOO.
To ensure everyone has a chance to share their questions and concerns, places are limited to a maximum of 12 corporate participants per workshop. Please choose your date and time:
- Tuesday 13 January: FULLY BOOKED
- Wednesday 21 January: FULLY BOOKED
- Monday 26 January: FULLY BOOKED
Click on the link below to book your spot today as places are limited.
Each workshop will bring together small groups (maximum ten companies per session) and will be led by Hendrik Schuldt or Simon Göß of Carboneer.
These will not be ex-cathedra presentations: they are designed as peer-to-peer working sessions, allowing participants to compare interpretations, exchange very concrete questions, and understand the fiscal implications of CBAM in depth.
This means preparation is essential: participants must have reviewed the key documents beforehand. Without this, the workshop will not deliver value.
Please take the time to truly immerse yourself in the following documents ahead of the workshop:
