The European Commission has formally published safeguard measures for steel imports into the European Union for the next three years, so safeguards will be maintained for all 26 categories of steel products, subject to annual review. The extension of the safeguard measures, which pits traders and consumers against the steel mills, will officially come into effect from July 1.
